Micheal T.K. Ababio

Meet Michael T.K. Ababio, our Director Admin & Operations, whose career spans more than 15 years across information technology, business, and leadership. Michael is an Information Technology graduate from the Open University and also holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Kumasi Technical University (2017). His strong academic foundation has been further enriched through advanced leadership programs, including the Raising Leaders Programme by Development Dimensions International (2023) and the Executive Certificate in Leadership and Strategy from the Institute of Leadership and Strategy (2024).

Michael’s professional journey demonstrates both depth and versatility. He spent five years with Melcom Group of Companies as a Shop Manager, effectively managing inventories, requisitions, stocks, customers, and sales. He then joined Olam Group International, where he served for 11 years as IT Lead, driving IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions. His career later took him to Germany, where he worked with Stadt Mülheim an der Ruhr for two years as an SAP Consultant, further strengthening his expertise in enterprise systems and digital transformation.

As a Certified SAP Consultant and Professional Scrum Master™ II (PSM II), Michael has led and delivered complex IT and agile projects, ensuring that technology solutions are not only innovative but also aligned with business strategy. Today, as Head of Admin and Operations, he combines technical expertise with visionary leadership, cultivating a culture of innovation, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael is deeply committed to service and values. He is a member of Rotary Club International, where he contributes to humanitarian and community development initiatives. A staunch Christian, he worships with Prayers Church in Germany, grounding his life and leadership in faith and integrity. Michael is also a devoted husband and father of three children, who finds joy in family life and inspires others through his humility and dedication.

In his leisure time, Michael is passionate about football, a hobby that reflects his love for teamwork, strategy, and perseverance. His dynamic blend of professional expertise, community service, faith, and family values makes him not only a remarkable IT leader but also a role model in both corporate and personal spheres.
